What is PEMF?

PEMF stands for Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields. Think of the body like a battery—our cells, organs, heart, and even skin rely on electrical and magnetic signals to function. PEMF delivers low-frequency energy that mirrors the body’s natural energy, helping support cellular regeneration and detoxification. It promotes nitric oxide production (improving blood flow and reducing inflammation), supports the body’s natural healing response, and activates the parasympathetic nervous system for relaxation. Benefits can include reduced pain and inflammation, cartilage protection, collagen production, improved healing, and overall relaxation. For best results, PEMF is typically used weekly to bi-weekly at first, then continued with a personalized maintenance plan for you and your animal.

Focus Area

Does your horse have an abscess, wound, or an acute injury?

The whole body is connected so when there is inflammation or an injury in one spot, the body is compensating in another area. It is recommended to not only focus on one area when it comes to PEMF so that you get a more systemic effect. Please reach out to talk about a focus area and we can discuss a good plan for your animal!

If your horse or dog has an acute injury or an extensive wound this should be cleared by the vet prior to a PEMF session.

How it started

Nicole’s horse Gus inspired her to begin PEMF after seeing firsthand how it helped him with his movement and wellbeing. By combining bodywork and PEMF, she achieved the best results in managing his pain, tension, and alignment. Wanting to share these benefits, Nicole now offers PEMF to support the healing, recovery, and overall wellbeing of horses and canines—whether for injury, chronic pain, hard-working bodies, or simple relaxation.

Nicole's Bio

Nicole has been involved in the horse world since a young age and has continued to be an equine and animal enthusiast. She started out taking horseback riding lessons at 7 years old. Nicole rode competitively with her horse Brody before taking on her nursing career in Pennsylvania. She had also taken up the love for teaching horseback riding lessons while going to nursing school.

After nine years as an Emergency Room Nurse, she’s now shifting her focus back to what she loves most—working with animals while still working as a nurse.

Who inspired canine PEMF?  "Roxie"

This is Roxie. Though she’s no longer with us, she had a profound impact on Nicole’s passion for helping other canines. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma, Roxie faced amputation, chemotherapy, physical therapy, and ongoing vet care—all with an incredible attitude and strong spirit. She beat the odds, surviving two years beyond her diagnosis and never missed a beat!

Seeing Roxie’s journey inspired Nicole to wish she’d had access to PEMF therapy to support pain, inflammation, and healing. Roxie’s story is a major reason Nicole now wants to offer this resource to other dogs in the community.

PEMF POWERED BY PULSE LOGO_BLACK_edited_edited_edited.png

PEMF does not take place of veterinary care, massage care, chiropractor care etc, but is a great addition when working collaboratively with them. My goal is to emphasize the importance of a wellness program and not just utilizing one modality but as a collective team to get best results. I would love to be part of your animal's wellness team today!

If your horse or dog  has an acute injury or abnormal behavior please consult with your veterinarian first.
